PA Faith Leaders Urge Rep. Charlie Dent to Vote “No” on Immoral Tax Plan

Leaders will hold a pray-in at Representative Dent’s office until he commits to voting no

 

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – On Tuesday, December 19th at 10 a.m., local faith leaders are calling U.S. Representative Charlie Dent to reject the GOP’s tax plan currently in conference committee.

The U. S. Senate and House of Representatives are currently finalizing a bill that would take away health care and give tax cuts to the wealthy. The recently-passed Senate legislation repeals a vital part of the Affordable Care Act and would place the health care of 13 million Americans – including 505,000 Pennsylvanians – at risk.
