Faithful Voter Organizer (Cleveland, Ohio)

Faith in Public Life Action seeks a talented, self-motivated organizer to provide ongoing support and technical assistance to clergy who are part of the Faithful Voter Pledge Card Program. The organizer will work with a set of churches to encourage congregants to commit to voting in the Fall elections.

Note that this is a contract position through November 2018.

Whether you care about education, health care, or voting rights, there is a lot at stake in this November’s election. That’s why many pastors are working tirelessly to ensure that everyone in their congregation can and does exercise their right to vote.

This year, churches will engage in a Faithful Voter program to educate congregants on the importance of voting to their community’s values and well-being. They will share important information about the voting process including voter registration, early voting and voting by mail.
