Florida Faith Leaders Denounce Donald Trump’s Divisive Rhetoric Ahead of Speech to Evangelicals
Orlando, FL -- On Thursday, August 11th at 10:30 AM, a prominent group of Florida clergy will hold a press conference at the Orange County Convention Center - South Concourse to rebuke Donald Trump’s vitriolic rhetoric and urge the Republican nominee to stop politicizing religion for personal gain.
Just ahead of Trump's meeting with a group of conservative evangelical clergy, Florida faith leaders will also release a sign on letter endorsed by dozens of Florida pastors highlighting the urgent need to protect the integrity of the church by opposing any effort to provide a Christian blessing to Donald Trump's campaign.
