Gainesville Faith Leaders to Hold Get Out the Vote Blessing, Early Voting Launch
Gainesville, FL -- On Monday, October 22nd at 11 a.m., faith leaders and community members will hold a Get Out the Vote blessing and early voting launch at the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections. Participants will bless postcards filled out by community members who have pledged to vote. The postcards will then be sent back to remind participants of their commitment. Immediately following the press conference, attendees will vote early at the nearby Supervisor of Elections office as an expression of being a “Faithful Voter.”
