County Commissioners, Faith and Community Leaders Speak in Support of Funding Abortion Care Ahead of Fulton County Board of Commissioners Meeting
Atlanta, Georgia – On Wednesday, October 4, at 9:00 a.m., County Commissioners, faith leaders and community leaders will hold a press conference ahead of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners meeting to call on Commissioners to approve a resolution to fund abortion care.
On October 4, Commissioner Dana Barrett is introducing a resolution at the Board of Commissioners meeting for Fulton County to allocate $300,000 to Access Reproductive Care-Southeast (ARC-Southeast), Georgia's only abortion fund. Prior to the meeting, Commissioner Barrett, faith leaders, community leaders and other elected officials are holding a press conference to call on the Fulton County Board of Commissioners to approve this resolution.
