Other things to know about voting
The new law cuts the amount of time before runoff elections to four weeks.
Have your voting plan in place sooner rather than later.
The Secretary of State’s powers are largely removed and the local election boards are stripped of power.
The new "State Election Board" has the authority to remove local officials and appoint their own.
Georgia Bureau of Investigators now has original jurisdiction and do not need a referral to investigate election related claims.
